Style for beginners

I feel like I shouldn’t feel like I have to dress more mellow but like I’m not that good in park like my best trick is a nosie 3 180 out when there are 10 year olds from pns with the rail comfort of Jesper. Ik Ankilla isn’t known for his advice but he seems kinda right here. I need some opinions

Baggy shit but also style comes from the way you ski too, key “you don’t wanna be a boner when you land”, try to be pretty loose goose and casual with the way you ski, when you land something make sure ur afterbang and rideout is on point. Idk what I do is to just ski like it’s no big deal

If you look like you’re having fun and are trying to hit things instead of just carving through the park who gives a fuck what anyone thinks? Anyone talking shit on you for learning isn’t worth listening to anyways.

xannys right that if you’re just standing in a crowd above a feature dressed like a G people might pay more attention to you dropping but as long as you’re out there to ski not just to look cool nobody is gonna give you shit for coming off a straight slide early

go have fun and express yourself man

I’m also still a beginner as well but in my short time skiing I’ve kinda noticed this as a trend. You can still be really good and have good style without “looking the part” . But looking the part helps with first impressions and can help your tricks look better as well sometimes. Obviously style is a way more subjective and complicated of a thing than just “dress cool and your style looks good” or “you have to dress a certain way to have style”

I always shoot for trying to feel like I’m skiing in pajamas. Sweats under, one size too big on pants shit like that. How u dress is 100% ur own way to express, but dressin w the aim of being comfy is a good place to start
