you really need to check your compressor out. Just because it's 'big' doesnt mean it's going to put out enough CFMs @ 90psi. You need to check your compressor or your manual and tell me how many CFMs (SCFMs) your compressor puts out at various psi's.

Did you only get one pipe cap? Cause, if you got more than one, i would try drilling some with 1/16 holes. Or you could just re-drill the existing ones.

Adjust the water/air pressure of your gun. The air pressure should match your water pressure. You can't test the water pressure, but you can adjust the air pressure to about 40-50 psi which should be around your water pressure. Then just use the valves to put more/less pressure out.

Drill one 1/16 inch hole in a pipe cap and try it. Also did you just upon the water valve all the way or slowly upon it till you had nice mist.

Then snow gun will work......... If you have the right size air compressor and the right size hole drilled in the pipe cap.

If there was just water coming out then your water pressure was high then your air pressure.

Another thing to check is the dran valve on you air compressor. Most air compressors haave them. And after you are done using you air compressor you should always open the valve so anything in it will dran out. You should also leave it open so water will not condensate on the inside of the tank.

Maybe when you tested last night you did close the vavle be for turning on the air compressor. If you did not close it and it was open you would never be able to build up presssure in your air tank.

Check you air tank and see if it has a valve.

God Luck with you next test

Slowly, but I think the problem is, when I tried it again this morning, the PSI was below 20. And I let it run for a while, it wouldnt get higher...and also, I think some water got into the compressor cause after I turned off the water and disconnected the hose and everyhting it was still spraying short burts of mist.....stupid compressor...i made a 1, 3 4 hole 3/32 caps...If I cant figure out whats wrong soon, I will try 1/16

HAHAHAHAHA!!!! I think I know why it wasnt building pressure, and yes I did close the check valve.....When I tried it last night and this morning, water was coming out of hte bottom of the compressor tank somewhere....HAHAHA, maybe the drain valve was left open..I didnt even know it had one. haha, Ill check it when I get home and tell you guys what happens, and get some pics up too.

Yes, the drain valve was left open if water was coming out of the bottom of the tank.

I also did that the first time I tried to make snow and I did not know why my air compressor was not building pressure.

Try it when you get home from school

IT Well work this time if that is the problem.

Good Luck this afternoon

Daniel

Glad to hear im not hte only one that did that. thanks

Just got home, Im going ot in a few minutes..I know it will work though. I checked hte compressor and noticed the valve was open, and then I turned it on to see if it would pressurize and it did. Ill post in an hour or so.
