Stupid questions don’t judge

1. Is corked just an umbrella term for bio or misty or rodeo, or is corked it’s own separate thing?

2. If someone throws a flatspin, is it also always a flat 3? What about mistys or rodeos?

3. What’s the difference between flatspin and rodeo and misty? They all look the same to me

4. can you cork a Lincoln loop?

corked is only for corks, maybe bios as well because they're a forward cork

2. idk what you mean

3. rodeos are supposed to be inverted and flats aren't. In practice they're pretty much the same trick though. mistys are off axis flips thrown forwards, they only look like rodeos when you do a lot of spin in them.

4. No, but some cork 3s look like lincoln loops

1. No. A corkscrew spin is a back leaning, off-axis rotation. A misty is a forward flipping spin and a bio is a forward leaning off axis spin.

2. A flatspin is like a rodeo but the feet never passes over the head. It can be done in 3-5-7-9-10, but then it kinda turns into a bio.

3. Look how they set the rotation. Its easier to see it in front of the jump. If the rider leans forward and flips, its a misty. If they lean back and flip a spin, thats a rodeo.

4. No. You can spin a lincoln loop but you cant off axis it as it is alread off axis. Its like asking if you can frontflip a backflip.

Isnt lincoln loop on-axis since its just a sideflip?

think about it this way, bios and mistys you are throwing yourself foward. corks and rodeos you are throwing yourself backwards. bios and corks are off axis spinning tricks. mistys and rodeos are flipping tricks with a spin. flat spin and rodeo are basicly the same, but flatspins are less inverted. also its way easier to only spin to 3 in a flat spin. though you can definitly spin flatspins and rodoes to 5, 7 ect. a super corked 3 kind of turns into a lincon so idk abt that one

A cork is a forward set upright rotation with a twist. But if you untwist it it becomes a rodeo.

A flat spin is sort of like a rodeo, but corked.

If you throw a lincoln loop with enough forward momentum, it becomes a cork.

Here's my understanding of it:

I know you dont set a rotation forward left or back right, but it helps me kind of map out sets.

1. cork and bios are there own bonafide axises with forward and back respectively. they have nothing to do with mistys or rodeos

2. flatspins can be up to any degrees of rotaion but nobody really does true flatspins

3. flat 5 and rodeo 5 arent the same trick but they are the same trick cause almost nobody spins it flat. Rodeos and mistys are just frontflips(misty) and backflips(rodeo) with added horizontal spins.

4. no, lincoln loop is a side flip and flips are not equal to corks
