How is pointing out that suggesting drinking a cup at a time is stupid wine elitism? It is just as true for a $20 dollar bottle as a $2000 bottle.
As for the cognac, even if there arent a ton of drinkers on the board, the comparison was probably still understood. Plus im not sure that there aren't ant here, this place seems like a haven for the mix your pint of vsop with coke crowd.

well I stand corrected. Im glad you brought yourself down to our level with the "a cup at a time" comment.
im just saying it came off a little harsh. nobody questions your knowledge though. ill let everyone get back to discussing the goods. I would love to have the chance to drink a valuable wine, along with having someone explain its merit to me.
