Studying abroad in Melbourne..need a place to stay!

So I am coming to Melbourne on February 10 to study at Victoria University and I need a place to stay. I have temporary housing for the first few weeks but then I wanted to move into an apartment in or near the CBD. If anyone has an open room let me know!

We've got a room available (we being me and occasionally my mum when she comes to the city to work) in Malvern which is about a 15-20 minute train ride to the middle of the CBD. Its got double bed, desk and tv in it and there's linen and all that stuff here if you don't want to bring it with you.

Banks, supermarkets and a heap of restaraunts etc. super close.

Hey thanks for the offer! I will be in Melbourne on Feb 10 and if I can't find an apartment in the CBD within a week or so, I'll definitely contact you. How much will rent be?
 
Hey dude.Rents about 150 a week as far as I know. Yeah give us a shout if you do or don't find something just so we'll know.Have a good flight over and catch ya soon.
 
I am at VU, but am not sure of the situation with student accomodation at the uni anymore. How long are you staying? You should come on the uni games this year if you are here over winter.
