Student dies in ski accident

I was skiing the other day at my home mountain with my dad when we saw the ski patrol going down with someone in the sled. My dad got called down to the Ski patrol room because he's a doctor and he gets a free lift ticket if he will help out when someone gets hurt. So after about an hour and a half, my dad was finished and he called me and we met back up. I asked what happened and he told me that a 19 year old college student was going really fast and he caught an edge and hit a tree and died instantly.

jesus.... this just shows you how freak these accidents can be. sadly at 19, he didnt even have the chance to enjoy life fully. +++vibes
 
+++++vibes. this reminds me of the kid in the Olympics in luge. so sad to have to bury your kid. should never have to happen

couple deaths recentley at sunday river in maine too. both wearing helmets, both hit trees, both dead. +vibes to all recent ski death familys and loved ones.
