Stuck in texas

I had to go to head to west texas (and its my first time in texas) for an internship. I am now missing the snow and wondering what there is to do here to get my mind of it? help!!!

 
there arent too many worse places than midland, even amarillo has the 72oz steak, but pretty much as far as texas goes if your not in austin dallas houston or san antonio your miserable, i do know some hot girls that grew up there though so find one for yourself, or get into hunting, as far as i know thats about it, sorry bro, on a positive note all the kids i know that put in time with oil and gas companies in midland for a couple years are now making huge bucks in the big cities
 
due to all the oil money, i'd bet there are some babes in midland, but they are most likely in highschool. anybody who's decent looking with money would leave after highschool.

there's decent mtn biking in the texas hill country southeast of you and there's pretty gnarly mountain biking in the el paso area. i'd suggest coming to austin where life is good. 6th street is always a great time.

you're quite close to big bend national park and guadelupe mountains national park as well. both are nice. and if you like hunting, fishing etc you shouldn't be too bored. might as well open your mind up to new things and try to enjoy your time there.
