STRIPPED PEDAL THREAD

I've seen mechanics re-thread cranks before. Go to a good bike shop and see if you can get them to tap it for a reasonable price.

Then you can make all sorts of "tap that" jokes with the mechanic.

if you stripped the spindle on the pedal, depending on the type you can buy a new spindle. If not just buy new pedals, they will be better than what the bike came with anyways

This actually happend to me before, twice

Try to find just the side your looking for used on pinkbike. I ended up buying new cranks

If you happen to need drive side Truvativ Hollzfeller or Husslefelt ISIS cranks, PM me

You'll have to bore them out to a bigger size then find a pedal with a thicker thread that will fit in it (this will only work if you're running 1/2" pedals and go up to 9/16").

Another option would be to helicoil it, but I'm not sure how easy it would be to get your hands on a 9/16"-20 helicoil kit. Maybe a bike shop would have that size.

Or, you could weld more material onto the crank hole, drill it out, and retap it to fit a pedal.
