Strike 3: Candide's injury

At the end of Candide's segment in Strike 3 he does a railslide to backflip to fakie in the Blackcomb park and smokes a ladder (I don't know why the fuck the ladder was there) and goes down. He's obviously hurt relatively badly based on the reaction of the first people who get to him but it cuts out before you really find out what happened. Does anybody know what happened?

he got hurt, couldnt compete in the big air.

Yeah, I think he hits the tree next to the ladder, not the ladder, I think the ladder was there so that the photographers could get a cool view, and that sort of thing.

What has a whale done for you lately?
 
i think he cut his faceupor something...

What the hell were they doing with a car on the moon?... havent they gone far enough?
 
east coast pride ur a fool he deffenately hits the ladder you can hear him slam into it. he probably hit the tree too.

i saw that clip on 'you gotta see this'

they also showed DC crashing on the bridge slide.

Props to FOX for showing some freeskiing, but they should show more...

 
He hit the ladder with his ski, a small tree branch hit him in the head right between his goggles and his helmet, STICHES!!

 
i heard in a french mag that one moment he can't see anything and he couldn't open his eye, but after he go better

 
in an european skiing mag was an article about him. and they also wrote some words about his crash. he did crash against the tree and he has injured his head. but i think he#S OK RIGHT NOW

you are all wrong, that metalic sound was an alien space craft off in the distance over rainbow mountain accross the valley, that was their tractor beam shooting clones of John Aschcroft to planet earth to prepare for the second coming.
