Stretching New Era Hats

I have a bunch of hats but when i let my hair grow they got a little too tight, any way to make them stretch permanently ? Thanks

I would imagine that, because they are cotton, wash them on cold then start working them until they stretch, then let them hang dry. Basically the same as how you would stretch shirts. I just don't know how it would work with the embroidery and front of the hat
