I think he was just calmly and non-aggressively pointing out that this had already been posted. There is nothing wrong with that. You are the one turning a perfectly commemorative and respectful thread into an aggressive and insulting one by calling him a "childish prick".
And oh, I just saw that the article was from the Barrie examiner so I assumed it was in Barrie. I think even instituting something major like a chair lift or a ski run, an annual event, or some sort of stretch of highway or something could offer more people the chance to pause and make appropriate decisions for their safety not only while riding, but to respect and appreciate all aspects of life itself. That would be very cool to see.
