Critique Away M'n'A

I am thinking of turning Street Die into a webisode so some feed back on that would also be apreciated.

Some Fun Cloudy day filming with Malcolm Taylor and new members Quin and Logan. Snow started falling so it cut the day short, but we managed to ull enough shots.

Also new one coming after the weekend.

That was really sick, I enjoyed that a lot.

Music was sick, editing flowed, glidecams were smooth, colour was slick, and the talent was there.

Webisodes would be sick, but the name sucks "street die".

Think of something a little more creative and it will be mean.

Pretty sick man! Only thing was that the filming was a bit shaky (for being filmed with glidecam) and the framing got a bit wrong some times.

i liked it! i liked how the colors wernt to saturated, the song went well and the glidecam work was pretty good, could be a little smoother but didnt take away from the edit!

nice work! i enjoyed watching that, and the skiing was great

Thank you! +K to all. Yeah glidecam is pretty new still trying to get it dialed haha. As for the name, i think we will keep it the same for now. Its kind of an inside joke. Filming for Ep 3 Today!

Real quick:

Good colors/lighting for a cloudy day. Nice job compensating for that, looks good.

Wasn't too stoked on the filming other than that^. I felt as though there wasn't a whole lot of movement/structure/positioning that made any of the shots stand out. Keep in mind framing and composition when you're filming - I know it's hard when you doing park laps but its critical if you want to progress.

Transition at 2:00 didn't work for me.

Liked the song. I thought the edit had good pace and from an editing standpoint it was pretty good to watch.

Thanks! yeah i agree i wasnt really trying that hard that day as far a filming goes thats for sure haha, but glad you liked it other then that! really gotta work on getting the tripod out more often!

the name is kind of a joke within the crew so i dont think it will change anytime soon sorry hahaha

Hey man this is pretty good! im going to reiterate what someone said above, there was no structure to the shots or supporting footage. If you want to make a webisode that people will remember you have to make it visually pleasing for them. just go into the woods and get a nice shallow focus on some branches or on the side of the box, something other then ski shot after ski shot. A glidecam note, use oposite motion from he skier. what i mean by that is, if the skier is riding away from you, use a horizontal motion, if they are skiing with you, ride at them. create motion around the shots because then you will have to rely less on the insanity of the tricks. keep it up and keep experimenting, looking forward to the next edit.
