But pretty much everything else at stratton suuuuckssss. They couldn't even build 35 foot jumps for the open that people can clear. I mean it wasn't even windy and people couldn't hit the second jump.

What mountain are you skiing bro. I have the mSnow/strat pass skied Carinthia much more but the Stratton parks are not far behind.... maybe you didn't even ski the large features. Yes I would classify it Similar to like the first 2gulch line jumps

Im at Stratton about every other weekend, and yes I do hit the bigger features. I am happy to say that the rails on the left side are great. Probably best rails they have ever put up, and I guess the right side can be fun, but there isn't many features that are good for progressing (more creative/exotic features). Now lets talk about the left side jumps. I liked the first one. It was decent sized, steep landing, and quite a wide steep takeoff. The second jump is way to far, and the uphill right before the jump sucks. That jump just isn't consistent. Sometimes theres speed, next hit there isn't. I have participated and watched friends and I throwing a trick and not clearing it. It sucks that we can't count on clearing it because it just puts a bigger risk, which mainly doesn't turn out well. The new left jumps suck. Ive been hitting them, and the first one can barley be cleared, and pretty everyone at the open either knuckled or pussied out. From people who weigh about 120-200, they all knuckled about a ski length or more. If we can't get enough speed for the jumps, its going to make it extremely difficult to progress and throw down. It aint fun knuckling. Stratton pretty much fucked the parks this year. With only two jumps, one being dangerous and non-consistent and only a few rails, Stratton skiers got fucked. We don't even have another park with 20ft+ jumps. Cmon

All in all, stratton parks have been getting better, but they still need a lot of work to get to Carinthia level. After been skiing there for 7 years and running, I am happy with their progress, but the still have a lot to learn and need the mountain to grant them more trails. Big ben is kinda flat and has a lot of head wind.
