stratton in the middle of march

I'm from maryland and have never been to VT for spring break. Will conditions still be good in the middle of march? also you guys got any favs for spring break skiing (ie good and cheap) up north.

it'll be good then. They will be set up for the VT Open and the US snowboard open. If you can hit the park for that, you'll be happy. Otherwise, they should still have at least 2 parks open.

 
Last VT Open the snow was fine on Fri and Sat, but mashed potatoes on Sun, which is cool too but slow. Oh, and you mentioned cheap... Stratton's the last place you wanna go then. Hit up Jay Peak- It'll be good mid March.

 
Mount Snow is 20 minutes South of Stratton, is 10 bucks cheaper, and has better parks if parks are what you are lookin for. If you want better steeps and trails and the more isolated experience, I agree with Jay Peak.
