Anyone else see some of the Stratton Resort tweets today?

"To the skier lapping the magic carpet all day waiting for American Express to open..."

Typical ski resort marketing... hype up the fresh snow and ropes dropping, yet only carpets are operating

ever thought it has to do with the wind?
 
There was crazy wind today and low temperatures, tomorrow is also supposed to be real bad, I got a run in this morning while they were still spinning amex and honestly I doubt youd want to be up there anyway, wait for the weather to pass, stratton has some good shit open rn and should have a suntanner build by this weekend.
 
went down the street to mount snow Saturday similar situation no summit access, but the wind was not even that bad.

I brought a long island broad and even she didn't complain.

operating expenses were greater than expected ticket revenue #passholdersonly
 
They opened the top sunday and i was treated to fresh snow all day up top from the storm on thursday. Ravine and diamond in the rough were great. as were all my hidden woods gems that were untouched.
