Sup y'all. Shout out to all the other Stratton riders. Figured i'd make a thread to post park updates, conditions, meet up with people, spots, etc. Hope this is a good season! Hoping El Nino brings some serious snow.

Anyone have any idea how Thanksgiving weekend is looking? Thinking about heading up for a day or two but not really sure if its worth it. Super warm weather. Hope they can get up a couple top to bottom runs and a little rail park or something

Looks like there´s gonna b some cold weather for snowmaking the next few days and next week so there should be trails come turkey day. Hope they can bring back some decent parks this year like lower middlebook and the betwixt rail garden. Cheers to a killer season

Hell yea...pumped hopefully can get some turns in that weekend and mess around at least for one day.

I'm really hoping for the suntanner park again. Think its such a better run to have a park on. But still just excited to get out and ski

The pass is a real good deal for $349 if you are an old guy like myself too old for the mt snow pass but I am very optimistically hopefully they will do something good with the park...if you follow their insta (that has 900 followers to mt snows 14,000) the majority of their features they make seem novice/ beginner friendly and not really progressive or to a decent size features for park...we will see..

They stopped really making massive features like they used to back in the day. They build a decent park by mid season though. If you are looking for massive pro style park go to Mt Snow. Thats the crowd they want to cater to and attract. Stratton obviously doesn't want to attract the same type of crows...much more upscale / money spending crowd plus who can compete with Mt Snow in terms of terrain parks.

They usually have some solid 40-50 ft jumps up by mid season give or take depending on snow year.

I get what you are saying b/c I've had season passes for many years at both mtns but the most upscale/expensive mountains in North America typically also have the best parks...aspen has X games, park city, whistler...Stratton is charging $100 a ticket per wknd I just wish they allocated some $ to improving what their park was from last year while all the other mtns in so vt placed in top 5 for parks (Mt snow, killy, okemo)- looking forward to mid season there if that's when it will be best
