Strapping poles to skis

Hey what are those things called that strap around and hold your poles to your skis as one unit so you don't have to carry poles and skis seperately, I have been using rubber bands to hold poles next to skis but I've seen strap sort of things that would work better, do you know where I can find one of these, shop did not have them.

Thanks!

the pole straps don't work. I am literally just looking for something to use that tightly holds the poles tight to my skis in place of the two rubber bands I have been using, it's really not that complicated.

I wouldn't bother, just lay your skis horizontally into your arms, and carry them as if you were carrying firewood.

Ok thanks. No that's not what I am talking about. I hate being in all my ski shit luggin around in my ski boots, so I have a bag w/ helmet gloves and goggles etc. and then carry my boots in same hand, skis in other hand, I don't have 3 hands ya know, just makes it easier.

Thanks tho.

Orange strap by BD or Voile. Very useful. Keep a spare long one in your bag for lots of other uses.

This. It is called a Voile strap (made by Voile, obviously). I have variations from BD and other companies, but the Voile one is the best.

They are good to have. I use them to hold my backcountry ski setups together because the brakes don't always work. My friends who telemark also use them since they have no brakes.

Perhaps their most essential function is to hold a snow-covered (and therefore no longer sticky) skin to a ski. That has gotten me, my friends, or trip participants out of jams numerous times.

I have been doing this thing where I carry my skis in one hand and my poles in the other and it has been working great for me.

protip: attach your boots together by their booster straps and throw em over your shoulder.

bonus tip: Get a backpack.

that was the most gaper tech talk episode that 4frnt made, they must have been out of ideas. if you can't casually observe a couple people at your local mountain and figure it out then you got other issues

It was meant to be entertaining (which is was) and inform gapers (which it did). Best 4FRNT video they ever put out, well done guys.
