Strapless

be careful I won a pair of those in a raffle and the next day I tore my left thumb's UCL...and had to have surgery...directly due to that Leki glove/pole strap thing...

how can you grab without straps??? dont you lose your poles? unless your just tapping your skis and not really grabbing em...

^bummer

i always have mine strapped. it just feels weird without 'em...

"Hey guys, Chad fell down."

They're not annoying, they're deathtraps. The only time I use them is when I'm hiking or if I'm on the lift.

I think that poles are dangerous regardless of straps. Wearing them or not, you can be impailed. I dropped a cliff up at Hood and had the pole come from behind me and cut a gnarly gash in the back of my head. Blood everywhere (kinda knocked me out so I thought it was dirt or something at first). Stitches and what not. Big scar.

Point: Poles are dangerous, regardless of circumstance.

It's only after you've lost everything that we are free to do anything.

Ski Every Day

i use them so i dont have to walk half way up the mountain when i wreck. that sucks! but if i am park riding i just do whatever feels comfortable.

I cut mine off so I can ditch my poles when I crash, so I don't land on them. havn't bent a pole in a while. Also don't have to be bothered putting on and off on the lifts

Ski. Eat. Sex. Sleep. Ski. What else is there?

I strap, I hate letting go of a pole and hiking back for it
