Strange phone call

so i didn't go to school today and i just got up to eat breakfast and all that and the phone rang, my dad picked it up and said that some body on the other line said to him "hi this is matt(or mark idk) I am calling to remind you that on febuary 28th your television will go dark" then my dad hung up.

was all that shit just about the national conversion to digital cable, or did that already happen. if this is the reason then just let the thread die

btw the phone number came out of omaha nebraska and it is 402-982-0803

I think your right about telemarketers and omaha, but really if you using analog tv you actually do need to convert to Digi.

yeah the date for the analog -> digital was the 17th of feb, but they extended it to some time in june because people in the US are lazy and didn't call and get a free converter box
