STRANDED in Beaver, UT

If you're reading this message you already know, I'm stranded on Highway 15 in a town called Beaver, Utah. The head gasket on my Jeep exploded, radiator fluid leaked all over my engine, and with no major repair shops in the area, it will be approximately 5 days before the local garage can fix the problem.

If you happen to be passing through the glorious town of Beaver anytime during the next 5 days, please rescue me from this oppressive monotony.

Beaver, Utah is conveniently located on Highway 15 en route to Las Vegas and is a casual 300 miles from Salt Lake City!

 
man, if i lived close by (PA) i'd pick you up and we would just go to vegas gamble pick up hookers, and peace out...... but i don't. So bump to get this thread seen and to get this guy a ride
 
i suggest hitching to USU in logan and someone might let u stay with them on the floor of their dorm or something if you explain the situation(do you have any cash?)

i could call a couple people i know who go there but i dont think they would be down(mormons, pshh).

Hey dude, I'm driving to Vegas on the night of the 28th after the final day of the sx nor-ams here at copper, my number is 1-604-966-8276 and its just me in the truck. Gimme a shout if you still need a lift, I feel your pain, been there before.

Oh, and not only that but I'm driving back up the I-15 afterwards to get to cypress for a WC... so if you do get a lift beforehand I can give you a lift back to the jeep after SIA if you need.
 
logan is further away from beaver than slc, where there are many people (myself included) that would be willing to offer a floor or a couch for a night to sleep on.

sorry i am unable to help you out with a ride, i hope you have an adventure in beaver country.
 
As long as you don't molest him you are extra legit!! it's the first time i see someone actually hooking someone else with a lift instead of just saying well i would but.... very nice!
 
Mad respect for the updates, PMs, and phone calls I received as a result of this thread!

Just to keep you updated, I made it out of Beaver and arrived in Vegas Monday night. All my clothes were locked in my car in the repair shop and the initial estimate/ diagnostic of the $1,500 blown head gasket was incorrect. As it turns out, the water pump and thermostat blew, and with 250 in labor, I can pick up the jeep at anytime. The trade show is excellent, next year's product is straight fire, and twin tips are dominating. Stay stoked, keep slaying, and thanks again for your help.

you want to make sure your belt is still good on the jeep and it wasn't what caused the problems.

i had a similar prob on a 96 cherokee and went through two water pumps and a radiator before the scandalous repairman found the right problem

glad someone was able to help you out of beaver.
 
No! sorry homie I'm not in Utah so I can't help ya! but talk to kutcher he's coming back from vegas soon I believe
