Straight skis for urban?

alright so i might hit one or two urbans next year, tops.
but i don't want to wreck my skis and i'm too poor to get designated urban skis to use twice.
buuuut i found some old 1990 straight skis in my barn and i could probably get my hands on some cheap bindings by next winter. i would centermount them and put some wax on em. they're obviously not twin tips but i don't think it'll really matter.

good idea? bad idea? anyone else done it?

uhh im almost positiver you can find some legit urban condish twintips on here or ebay for likr 40- 70 dollars.. that would be better.

Im sure it would work just dont try landing switch unless you bent the tail up. There was a thread about making your skis reverse camber recently so you could try that.
