May 23 – Last Trick Rail Jam
Location: Standard Trail, Half Pipe Area
Time: 10am - 2pmThis is your last chance! A giant pile of snow, formerly the halfpipe, will provide the surface for Stowe's park crew to set up the rails, boxes and jumps for one more jam session on Memorial Day Weekend. This event is free and open to all skiers and snowboarders. Bring yourself, friends, beach attire, sunscreen and lawn chairs. With music and a bounty of prizes and giveaways for participants, this one’s going to be a party in the park.

i live pretty far so can me n some friends get there early and then stay later? or does it get stopped.

dicks!!!!!!!

why would you post this.

I was hoping it was gonna go under the radar again.

Windham= mob of crazy people. The round tube down was the only thing i really seshed. Had to keep snaking people/training to get hits. there were literally almost 100 people waiting for the flat box, and almost as many for the urban down.

lots of gapers.

hopefully stowe doesnt turn into that this year. Ill def be up there though. Windahm is cool, but im done dealing with those crowds.

it says 10am-2pm but im coming from pretty far away. is there anything stopping people from getting there a little early or just hiking until later?

prettty sure you can get there early...it went a lil longer then they said last year buttt then the bastards took out the cat and started pushing the snow back away so they didnt leave anything up...we were still hittin it as they came up to the destroy the last feature...no hate on keith though...hopefully he does another bang up job...fersure make the treck...there were some canadians and bostonians last year hahaaa

If by getting ther early you mean 11am when it starts, sure. Any sooner than that and you'll be helping me put the final rake and salt down, I can always use the help. And yes I'm that bastard who gets the cat out, as much as I would like to leave it up there is a higher power that dictates how it has to be but i don't mind hanging out to keep it going a bit long again and if there's enough help before it starts and we finish early, don't see why it can't get a few "test" runs in but you got to help to get that privilege. I can't do anything bout the crowds tho. btw, my name is Kurt, hit me up when you get there.

hopefully ill be up there a little early with some other NSers. i wouldnt mind helping out for some extra "test runs." while im at it do you mind me asking what the setup's gonna be like?

Nice, help is always appreciated. I have some ideas but I'll have some standard stuff flat rail, down rail and some other stuff, gonna try to get somewhere between 6-8 features up, it all depends on how much snow is there, it's still 2 weeks away and if it doesn't stop raining soon you'll have to bring the water skies and life vest.

hahah yahhh its always goood to help get the last salt in to get the first hits...sry bout gettin your name wrong, its been a while haha...hopefully you nd ma boy myles (said he was gonna help yah out) get some gnasty features goinn...cnt wait fer it

im not sure if i can go. therefore i wont be needing to stay at your house in your sisters bed, so tell her that. xxoo kthanksbye

why so short? 3 hours is not that long of a time to ride, especially if you're driving 3.5 hours+ to get there. is there any possibility that riding could continue past 3pm? perhaps to 4 or 5 pm?

I don't plan the event I just design and build it. Plus we don't have a huge budget being for sale and all, it may go a little later but we can only go as long as we have first aid there as per our insurance, I'm just happy we can have it at all !

hahaha. are you going? i dont think i am anymore, but if for some reason i do, may i stay at your house?
