In the parks department, I really think both Stowe and the BUsh will have illin parks this year.
You sure can't beat the Stowe slack country though (coming from someone who grew up at the Bush)......except maybe at Mad River.
I'm hikin for my second day tomorrow early.
 
a vagina. hahaha but everybody should ignore this and still go to sugarbush. or if you go to stowe please stay in the park and out of the woods.
 
Hiked 'er this morning really early. Nice turns all the was down gondi. Not bad watchin the sunrise while skiing on november 2nd.

just looked at its scheduled to open november 20th, too bad ill be headed back to the great state of michigan for thanksgiving
 
any word on something being setup for opening weekend? still a week and a half away but just curous. stoked to be back skiing at stowe this winter
 
hopefully a week and a half away. weather looks warm for the next few days. hopefully mother nature helps us and they open the 20th.
 
waste of snow IMO.

Also, Sugarbush? Whatever you say, all I read is "Stowe's parks are going to be less crowded"
 
haha yah right after i posted that i remembered Id rather have another rail or 2 haha. I just want mid season formed park! YAY
 
Kurt or anyone who has been up there, how does the snow look in the patches where y'all been blowing? I was hoping to hike tomorrow and have a little shenanigan fun
 
yea there's coverage on the opening route down to the crossover, I haven't been up there myself but from what I can see looks OK.

As far as blowing snow, we have been seeing a temp inversion last couple nights, so it has been a little warmer then down the hill but have no fear we will make snow whenever temps allow.
 
Welp, this is us hiking down on Saturday...... plus 50s until Thursday, I'd guess a Tuesday opening is what we are looking at.

Yup not opening this Sat but we are shooting for this Wed 24th that's if the weather allows us to make snow, let's hope it stays cold enough to do so!

Opening set up will be 30 flat box, kink rail and down donkey rail, prolly be set up near the top as that's where the most snow will be to work with.
