STORMS

I think most resorts on the east have more snow than us. FUCK! I can wait. I would really like to see some ridiculous March storms. Like, non-stop for a few days and we end up with like 10 feet total. That would be epic. Last March sucked. Just like this January.
 
I have never seen shasta lake as low as it is now.

mt. shasta ski park is on the verge of closure from lack of snow as well.
 
it's been snowing at Boreal allday. Big-Fat daddy flakes, should be making a nice base for the rest of this snow to pile on.
 
Mt Rose was pretty fun today, they got around 6-8 inches. I sure did a number on the bases of some new skis today though.

Forecast looks good too!
 
I will be at Mt. Rose in a few weeks for a highschool race. Not sure if I'm actually staying for the race, but you can bet your balls I will let my dad buy me a ticket and pay for my hotel room.
 
It was my first time ever there, but it was sick. Would be a great place on a deep pow day. The chutes area looks incredible. Coverage there is still bad though, I would say 50% of their mountain is unrideable still. Ghetto little park too. But it is a fairly good sized place.
 
your opinion of mt rose is pretty much the exact same as mine.

but dude, imagine if the road up to mt rose, was COVERED in snow....oh man

imagine skiing down that....ultra fun lol
 
they had a pretty good looking park a couple years ago at Mt. rose. And ya the chutes are fun, but I still prefer the terrain at Squaw more over all.
 
You can do that down old 40 on huge storm day because they close the road at sugarbowl and you can ski to donner lake. Especially epic on a moon light night!
