Storing skis for summer

Was thinking that it cant be good for them to be clamped together all summer. Should I unclamp them for a while or will they be fine? Do you think it makes the ski profile flater or they don't change because of the way they are made?

I had sorta the same question. Generally i think keeping them clipped together base to base might trap moisture and rust your edges. I keep mine separated in my ski bag most of the offseason and that works fine for me.

No matter what you do theres gonna be some moisture that gets to your edges and core. Keeping them in a dry place is prob the best you can do

I don’t think it matters or even care. I finished a 31 month season with a broken leg and couldn’t even carry my skis into the house. Got someone to put them in my house and they’ll stay right where they are till I can ski again.

Put a coat of universal wax or prep wax on heavy and don’t scrape.

If I rode a super heavy din (14 or something high) I would consider lowering the din.

im a pansy so I rock skis at 9 and just leave them.

i do every season before skiing take my skis and get a din check.
