Stomping rails

hike it... once on the rail look at the end of the rail not ur feet pop on pop off... ull get it if u practice

jump into the rail. if its a c rail, your not gonna wanna jump ontop of it, you just kinda hop into the curve and let it take you to the end.

Hiking definetely helps you grease a rail when your trying it for the first time, and remember to commit and be confident. If you come in thinking you are going to crash you probably will.

mhm, get a good amount of speed, because then you'll be on the rail for a shorter amount of time, and look at the end of the rail. practice makes perfect

Watch edits, see how they scissor their skis to stay centered.

Use your edges.

If you have a choice, try a flat or down bar before the rail, and a flat or down box before the c-box. It will help you understand what do to without killing yourself on the first attempt

Make sure you have the right amount of speed. You need a lot less speed than you might think.

Whatever you do, don't look at the end of the rail, and put as little pressure as possible on your front foot. If you slide right foot forward, all your weight should be on your left foot, and vice versa.

Also make sure that you lean over and bend at the waist, this is how you make rails look steezy and it will help you stay on them longer. I also recommend learning lipside first as it sets you up better for your stance once you're on the rail.

Good luck, and have fun!
