Stolen Skis

So over the weekend I was skiing at my home mountain, Waterville Valley, I went in for lunch and when I came out my skis were stolen. They were brand new and I used them maybe about 6 times so far that season. The skis were 09 salomon suspects in size 181. This isnt the first time that has happened as last year my skis were stolen too. It would be great if I find them, because I'm running low on money to replace them. Im guessing the guy who stole them is a member on this site, so if anyone knows a guy with salomon suspects in 181 with white sth bindings who just recently got them and would be a guy to steal them, pm me. Ok, not to sound like a douche... but why the fuck didn't you learn a lesson from last year and lock up your shit?
 
i seperated the skis so whoever wanted to steal them had to look for the other, but I thought since that you don't see many locks on skis so the idea never came to me
 
damn dude. i am so anal about my suspects. im gonna lock them up from now on. sorry bout your loss i understand how pissed you must be as the suspects are the best skis ever made.
 
All these stories of gear getn ripped off we should get a group together and instead of goin out filming....... no wait we do go out and after filming we should stay in after setn up some bait on the racks or wherever and then CRACK SOME FUCKIN SKULLS the second one of these punk bitches makes a move this craps gotta stop!
 
if the lodge isnt busy inside keep a ski on the rack and bring one in with you that way they wont get stolen. advice for everyone.
 
this is insane, so many skis have gotten jacked recently. i completely agree with the guy a few posts up, setup a sting then start crackin skulls
 
shit man. wtf is up with all the stolen gear. thats such a dick move. why would you steal skis that someone worked to get money to buy them. they are obviously special to the owner... shits fucked up
 
i went into the lodge for a few minutes. and then came out and i saw a guy walkin off with my afterbangs. i ran over to him ,tackled to the ground and punched him in the nose.
 
i would love it if that happend to me, i wouldnt give a shit if he was twice the size of me haha id love to see the asshole who stole these skis
 
there have been lots of stolen gear threads lately. everyone learn a lesson from these unfortunate situations and keep an eye on your shit! or lock it up.

You do sound like a douche, although I agree you have a good point.... BUT just because he didn't doesn't mean this kid deserves to have his ski's stolen again... quit all this "should of locked sh*t up bollox and help the kid... if you have NOTHING to say that helps him, don't say anything - i feel kin sorry for this guy.... super bad luck.... this season f*cking sucks for shit getting stolen, and nobody deserves it... hate on the thief, not this kid...

(but maybe buy a lock for next season... just becuase you seem ultra unlucky with this...)
 
That sucks man, I should be up at waterville this weekend i'll be looking, hopefully the guy isn't dumb enough to be rockin them where he stole em... good luck
 
There was a 2009 Salomon Suspects with white sth bindings but the size was 161's today. I asked him though.

Good luck finding them. I get my eyes peeled for ya.
 
You know what, sometimes blunt answers are the only way to teach anyone a lesson. When you get bit twice and didn't learn from the first... I am not gonna feel sorry you. But thanks for the moral guidance, Gandhi.
 
I am by no way hating on your attempt to recover your stolen skis. id do the same thing if it wasnt for the fact that first off white STH bindings on suspects is very very common. almost every pair i see has them. but the only thing that you might have going for you is the length. not to many people are tall enough to rock 181"s (i do). but that being said gauging on the size of your resort, this thread is pretty much useless due to the fact that its a very popular ski last year and they have nothing unique about them other than the size and still new looking. all in all you have a better chance going out to the mountain and looking for them your self cuz even if the thief if on here hes not gonna fess up to it and if some one did find out who just got "new Suspects" whos to say otherwise to if he bought them or not. its just a very shitty situation but i hope you find them dude!
