Attn Newschoolers.
My name is Sean. I like to shoot photos. I was rolling deep digitally utill some lowlife stole my gear out of my house. Now I am shooting film on a circa 1924 kodak leather bellows camera at a max shutter speed of 1/60th of a second. HA!
Please take a look @ this blog post and help me out buy copping a print or keeping your eye out for this thief.
Bless

wow super legit work you've got there i'd love to help you out by buying a print or too after i get my paycheck this weekreally hope things get back on track for ++++vibes

That sucks. +vibes to you

If someone stole my packed photo bag I would put a hit out for them. I know what it's like to love even your little things--pocketwizards and vivitar flashes, old nikkors--that blows that they're gone.

Great portfolio too. There's a few prints in there I like enough to buy...

Damn man that is horrible to hear and I hope you can find the scumbag who stole your shit. From reading your blog it seems like you're trying to keep your head up and continue shooting on what you have. That's super inspiring and I will for sure be picking up some prints. Also he is located in Utah so everyone be on the lookout.

fucking low life is right! when i get back from Canada i gotta pick up a shot of the man, the myth, the legend...Jose! catch those thieving fuckbags!

Man you are a great photographer. These pics just made my day!

I hope you'll find a way to keep on working that good. ++ vibes for you.

new schoolers.....
thank you so much for your support. gettin licked like that could def bring you down if you arent careful, luckily ive got great friends and amazing distractions in my back yard. the blog has already started to raise some loot, so i just wanted to make sure i said thanks at least twice....cant wait to be shooting for real again.
decided to leave the foolish city behind and go snowcamping/splitboarding with my roomate, just get as far away from that noise as i could. definatly a nice treat to hike with 30-40 LESS lbs than usual. the "monkey" is literrally off my back for a while so its time to hike my ass off.
I built a new splitboard a few days ago and decided to head up _____ fork to test it out. the thing rips, and just hiking around in ski mode makes me miss/remember the days before i started snowboarding. thought i would share some photos from the trip with you guys. my roomate and i shot all of these on his canon rebel with a 15mm fish eye. pretty stoked on the image quality, def better than the 90 year old film camera ive been using as a "back up" since the gear got jacked.
got a late start up the trail and pitched our new mtn hardware tent in the dark. woke up early to the sounds of avalanches and avy bombs from the nearby resorts, looked at our options on the tour map, and then set off. the snow is super dangerous right now, and every pit we dug said the same thing. sketch as fuck, check the photo of the snow block just imploding on itself. took in some summit views and lapped a few tree runs, hit base camp, cooked a gormet meal and played with the canon rebel, and then back to reality, with a 30lbs pack, in the dark, thru a natty half pipe filled to the teeth with cold pow.
life is good.
