Today, someone raided a camera bag belonging to a friend of mine. They took his camera, a lens, and a couple of other things. If anyone knows anything about a Canon being "found" or any other story involving a new camera from today, please please please let me know.

The footy was cleared last night for a fresh start today so it doesn't have anything on it unfortunately, but we can identify it with a serial number and other things.

If it was you that snagged it, give it to lost & found at Grouse please, it's gonna be hard to replace.

it was a Canon 60D with a 50mm 1.8 lens that was stolen. I'm almost 100% it was a snowboarder as the footsteps leading to and from the bag in the woods were from a snowboarder. There was also an 8gb Sandisk memory card in it.
100 dollar reward, if necessary, for the safe return of the camera.
 
Yo there is a pretty good chance that it was the same snowboarder that stole my sunglasses out of my bag on friday when it was under the park hut. I ended up catching him riding with them on saturday and he ended up giving them back upon threat of my foot up his ass. He wears a bulls jordan jersey, backwards baseball hat, is between the age of 17-22?, has really bad front teeth and looks like he is from a trailer park, wears a hoodie underneath that looks like it has spiderwebs or something on the arms. I thought that I had scared him enough on Saturday that he would think twice before stealing again but clearly not. I'll keep and eye out for him and I hope you get your stuff back. Where in the trees was it stolen btw?
 
I put my bag in the trees behind/beside that little quarterpipe thing to skiers left of the tram rail.
 
yea dude thats where this snowboarder goes every lap. He goes around the outside of the park cabin. Even the park crew were commenting on how he was doing it and that he seemed really sketchy snooping around. Ill talk to some of the people i know on patrol and tell them to keep a look out for him and to maybe give me a call if they see him riding.
 
Yea no worries dude. Oh and if anyone is heading up there before me and they see this guy riding around let patrol know. Tell them that Sean on patrol already knows the deal about this guy. (not me sean, there is a different sean on patrol). I had already told him everything about this guy and they were trying to find him on saturday. Lets get this dipshit caught!
 
this guy might change clothes if he's smart enough to realize people will identify him, so look out for more than just what hes wearing
 
ive seen a guy wearing that jersey around when ive been up recently, if i see him again ill let patrol know, hope the camera is found! that sucks :(
 
that sucks andrew, best of luck on getting your shit back. im pretty sure i know the kid sean is talking about, he stole a homies flannel out of his bag that he'd stashed at the top of the park last year. if im with you i'll point the kid out, check craiglist, theres a good chance it may end up there.
 
i didn't mention this just to be safe, but i've been looking constantly for both the camera and lens
 
alright thanks jason, and ive checked craigslist, nothing as of yet, but its still early i guess. if anyone sees this kid at grouse, then please, please, PLEASE get ski patrol on him as fast as possible. seing as how this piece of shit has a ridiculous stealing habit, i doubt it would be anyone else. thanks everyone.
 
i know who this guy is ive always disliked him for some reason i dont even like looking at him for some reason. hopefully we can get this cam found
 
My backpack got stolen up at whis with my gorrila pod, helmet some LRG shit and gloves. It was a shitty day so I didn't bother bringing my camera up which is a decision I'm now stoked on. Getting shit stolen suck, hope you get it back!
