Anyone going to this? I made a poster for the event last month-- it sounds like they will be showing Eye Trip, Light the Wick, Deeper, and Revolver.

I've never been to Bethlehem, but I was told that the movies are being shown at the "Ice House". I just found this information:StoketoberfestWhenOctober 22nd : 7 p.m.
October 23rd : 2 p.m.
October 23rd : 7 p.m.Price:$15 per session, advance; $17.50 at the doorWhereCharles A. Brown Ice House18020

Not sure but I just bit on it. Me and the GF and my kayaking buddy will be in attendace for session one and the after party.

Also the ticket alone seems worth it, "Don't forget, you get a copy of Powder Magazine and a voucher for a lift ticket at Elk Mountain with each paid ticket plus chances for swag and great prizes like helmets, headphones, Contour HD Helmet Cams and more." A free elk pass is definitely cool, I'm there at least once a season usually anyway.

Oh T.L. I don't know at all what it includes but the VIP tickets online are 20 bones so not an incredible price increase. Guess we'll just find out what it includes, I'm hoping at the least some up front seating or something.

See ya all there if you'll be at session one for the meats and pbp show. May show up early as there seems to be some activities in town that sound kinda cool too.

Hey Gang,

I'm AG, the person running Stoketoberfest.

Three ticket price points; (Group 15/more $12.50), Online ($15), Door ($17.50). People who attend get a copy of Powder Magazine AND a voucher for a lift ticket at Elk Mountain. We will also have some swag and raffle prizes for each session. If you have a group, call me at the office at 610-997-5732 and/or email stoketoberfest@gmail.com.

Afterparty tickets are $5 bucks and basically get you into the private event at the Bethlehem BrewWorks in the Annex which is downstairs. Meathead films is attending the event as we are showing Work it Out Friday Night and Saturday Afternoon.

If you buy online, there are some packages as well that basically include the afterparties. Website is www.moviesgamesnmore.org Funds raised from the event support our free movie in the park program in the summer in Bethlehem.

If you are local, tickets can also be had at Nestor's in Whitehall and Homebase Skateshop in Bethlehem at $15 prior to the 22nd.

Keep checking the website as that's the primary place I'm putting news up on the event and make sure to tell your friends/family. Will try my best to make it a great event for everybody. Thanks Geoff for starting this thread and doing an excellent job on our poster. Follow the event on twitter @stoketoberfest.

See YOU at Stoketoberfest

Very stoked to see meatheads on the big screen again, afterparty at the brew works sounds awesome. Gonna have to grab some grub in between as the brew works food is pretty good too. mmmmmmm beer cheese soup.

i'll be there! either tonight or tomorrow, haven't decided yet..... wish you guys would have put meatheads and eye trip in a session together, they're both bangers but can't justify spending $40 for 2 sessions when I've already seen em both!

not sure whether i'm more excited for the movies or for brew works afterwards. and yes, the venue is pretty cool.

Here is the ultimate 10/23 plan:

2pm - early movie session

6pm - Halloween Comp at 1260

10pm - movie afterparty

Just a suggestion!

anyone else disappointed by revolver and it's horrible abuse of glitch mob? JP's segment was awesome, but i felt like there was a lot of filler content throughout the movie, and it probably would have been better if it was about half an hour shorter. do we really need 5 minutes of three people skiing the same pillow line at night?

I felt the same way. Quite long, and that night shoot scene while fun and maybe creative, wasn't very exciting to watch. Overall even with lack of better terrain, I enjoyed the meatheads movie much more.

Afterparty was pretty cool, didn't really mingle, but the food was pretty good and I took home two growlers of bethlehems finest. At least they had a pool table in there, some music would have been nice.

yeah i liked the meatheads flick better too. eye trip saturday night was my favorite of the bunch. the afterparty was a little more lively saturday too, even though the movies were actually less crowded. i felt bad, chris from meatheads was planning on meeting us at machs gute, but one of our friends ended up breaking his heel and we didn't end up staying there very long. sorry chris!

Anybody check the blackout dates on the elk ticket??? Must use before christmas or after february. That kinda blows, but I guess they did what they could. Looks like everyone is tightening up the belts in recent years. I doubt I'll make it there before christmas.

Good to know but I don't think I'll flip em. I'll probably shoot up there before christmas with the Gf if I can, if I still got em late season and it doesn't look like I'll use em I'll get ahold of ya then. Thanks for the offer.
