Been playing it all weekend for fun, made like $50 off some little swings. Might buy some next week but then again it’s never really gotten past 0.005 and that’s where it’s at now.
 
The funny thing about the drug thing is that it's not true. There are always underground markets popping up on TOR. I could probably find 5 right now.

Bitcoin is essentially the same thing right now as gold. We have functioning currencies currently used for every day purchases but if shit hits the fan your bitcoin can be converted into any currency across the world.

Probably going to have a couple calls going on NIO. NIO day is January 9th, their deliveries are way up. Hoping for a good run up next week. Parking the rest of my free cash in BTC.

What do you guys use for Bitcoin? Been fucking around with Robinhood but would like an actual wallet to deal with Bitcoin in serious investments. Looking at either BlueWallet or Gemini, would like other recommendations before throwing down in a few days.

Pre website days I'd literally buy and sell bitcoin with Cash loaded cards.

Once Coinbase.com came onto the market it's proven to be one of the best platforms for buying and selling. I just got back into the game and I noticed that their fees are way higher now, but it's better than just using the Robinhood INDEX because you'll physically receive bitcoin into your wallet.

Just link up a bank account and you're set. It's extremely secure and one of a few sites with insanely good security. Never hacked.

Back in the day i was trading on MTGOX but it got hacked and I lost a couple of bitcoins. Now those coins would be close $75,000 but back then it was only like $2000. I was still pissed but sorta more pissed now. It's hilarious I still get these letters in Japanese talking about the lawsuit taking place and if I want to jump into it. At least I suspect thats what the Japanese writing says.

My buddy has a similiar story. His company had a bitcoin atm in their office that you could put your debit card in and then receive a usb drive with bitcoin. He had one with similiar amount and when bitcoin went to $10k bunch of years back he tore his apartment apart only to realize the site had been hacked and it was never his anyways.
 
Bought in on NUMI (numinus) at .49, it hit 2.20 (cad) recently. back down to 1.20 but still, gonna hold it for a long time I think. that industry should continue growing.

got cineplex at $4.50 and its now around $9.00

I have a hundred bucks I want to toss into something, not sure what. any reccos?

I just use wealthsimple here in Canada- would reccommend it to anyone who wants to start learning. Free trading. PM me if you want a link to sign up and I think we both get $10 or something to trade with.

Recco, not trading penny stocks. Yeah you can hit the lottery on one. But its a losing game long term. Learn indexes and cheaper large cap and how they move. Then, if you want to turn lower amount into a lot, take what you learned and trade options on said companies or indexes.

yeah I've mostly been messing with penny stocks and others under $25. Also made a lot on a garbage stock called TOPS and a couple more. I have a different account for long term investing but it's just one where you choose how aggressive you want the computer to invest. I will look into indexes. I also want to learn more about calls and puts.

Dude yes. Psychedelic and mdma treatments are the future. I got into mindmed (mmed) right before it just popped up on everyones radar I'm fired up about the future of it.

I day trade large cap options. There is a learning curve, but if you understand how each stock flows, the options will come naturally. Sub $10 stocks are a pump and dump nightmare. I tend to avoid them. I did learn that the hard way though

I did something very painful today. I sold Tesla. While I expect the company to continue performing and beating expectations, I can't justify the current price and the 1000% gains have fucked up my portfolio balance. I'm keeping half of it because im nostalgic and it may go to $900 again or some bullshit, but if it 'tanks' to a less insane valuation I'll feel better.

Don’t feel bad, I sold at 450. Thought the bottom was going to drop out after lackluster battery day and figured I’d take profit.

Alot of ppl think tesla is a massive bubble. I think it might be. I mean how is tesla worth 700 billion and fuckin vw is worth like 80.

Meme stock or not I’m up like 70%. Sold one share at 660 for a decent gain.

Michael Burry (Christian Bale from The Big Short) has ironically shorted Tesla, let’s see if he’s right.
