^ yeah, but as some other kid said.... its generally just cosmetic. it shouldn't affect the ski at all, other than looks.

stl's are super durable. the topsheets are average but the edges and bases are super strong

^that's what i wanted to hear. I had a feeling the p-tex side walls would lead to increased topsheet chipping because there is a sharp, brittle edge. But glad to hear about the bases and edges, they look pretty solid.

 
yeah, oneof my buddies has a pair and all he does is rails every day. his edges are definetly rounded off and worn, but i was super surprised that there were absolutely no cracks or anything. definetly durable
