His tricks are stylish but please, his landing around :40 looks just stupid as fuck. Is he made out of rubber or what ? with those hips moving sideways, really gay. Sorry.
 
Great edit. I remember when it first came out so many NSers were ripping it a new one. It's like art, no one really respected the work until the artist died (dead in the game that is).
 
What? There was a small, albeit vocal, minority who took the time to bash brogan in any and all barely related thread, but otherwise everyone was on board.

I can think of thread after thread year after year of people clamoring for more Brogan shots in L1P's flicks, and for a 2 season stretch Brogan's hype was on par with Wallisch's. That THUG edit where he's wearing the Phillies jacket got reposted daily and everyone was shitting themselves.
 
tThe time of that edit's release was definitely when my interest and passion for newschoolers, and skiing in general, was at it's peak. People were inventing styles and putting out unique and interesting videos every day, it was awesome.

I'm not sure if anybody else feels this way, but I think skiing has exploded into a mess the past 3 or so years. There is a huge influx of talented riders to the point where pretty much everybody's style is a copy of someone elses, and every single edit seems like the same old shit over, and over, and over again.

Like, I'm sitting in front of a new sequence in Final Cut Pro tonight with a huge amount of footage of tricks that I would have killed to be able to edit with a couple years ago, yet I feel no passion towards it because I have seen it a thousand times, and know exactly how it will stack up.

The only ski video that I genuinely enjoyed in the past 2 years was Kratom Life.
