Hey im 511 155 pounds and im trying to find a really stiff twin that i can still charge with, i used to race and i ski everyhting hard, im on prophet 80s right now but im looking to get something new, any suggestions?  the stiffer the better     o yea i ski the east so i dont really need any waist over  90mm, thanks

the stiffest skis I've been on were line eric pollard pros from 04/05, they were the same as the chronic wides that came out the season after that. they were too stiff for my liking, but I was like 125lbs on the 166 cm length.

from your post, it seems like you want something for allmountain. other skis that i've heard were stiff that you can look into are..

K2 Public enemies

volkl karma

line chronic blends

line chronic wides

line chronics (i think they softened it this year though, so maybe the older years)

heard some head skis were rather stiff (mojo? or madtrix? i'm not sure)

4frnt msp (waist may exceed 90mm depending on the length you choose)

You might want to check out the Mojo 90's, those are pretty stiff for a twin. What you should really do is go down to a shop and check out the skis for yourself, because everybody has a different idea of what constitutes a stiff ski.

yeah, I was messing around with the Line Blend in a shop last week and they are crazy stuff. I was surprised. It could be what your looking for.

yea i was thinking about the Blend or the PE or the Wall...hard decisions        did the wall replace the karma?

the karma was basically split into two more specific skis this year i believe, with the wall and the bridge. walls are completely symmetrical, so it's more park oriented

well, not really no. sure those are two good "stiff" all mtn options for the kid, but by no means the only options. he also hasn't said how he skis or what he wants it for, so here's a list:

(more park specific -> more all mtn)

Fischer Addict Pro

Head J.O. Pro

Volkl Wall

K2 PE

4Frnt MSP

Line Blend

Head Mojo 90

Line prophet 90

if you really only ski park and groomed and hardly any pow, get one of the first 3, depending on preference.

if you ski a bit of everything (park, groomers, crud, pow) get one of the 2nd group depending on preference

if you ski mostly all mtn (groomers, crud, pow) then look at the last two.

good luck!

I have Chronics from 05/06 and after a year of skiing them they are still crazy stiff

way stiffer then my pipecleaners

(which arent that stiff actually)

fischer addict pros when i looked at them in shop they felt pretty stiff

Take a look at the Elan Mo2 (if you can find 'em anymore) you can push them hard!

I just picked up a pair of 185's

Also the Scott P3 fit your description

I used to race and I ski east coast, I have both of the above and love them

the stiffest ski by far is the Stockli Stormrider DP Pro Skis...if you think you are bad ass ski the 201...bye the way it has a 34.3 TR....

the wall replaced the karma. pes are not all that stiff. I find they are actually pretty soft and easy to butter. (I'm 6' and 170 lbs) They also get chattery going really fast on crud found on the east coast. Karmas, when I demo'd them at the end of teh day at Sugarloaf in the spring were way better at speed and in choppy conditions than the PEs.

the base on the pipe cleaners is super fast, but they had to sacrifice something for that. their base isn't very tough and would get worn out pretty quick on rails
