Stiff or flexible boot?

there isn't a single answer to this question. Depends on ski ability and weight, how hard you ski, more rails or jumps or 5050, etc. A stiffer boot will generally give you more control and better forward pressure, a too soft boot won't give you enough support while a too stiff boot won't give you a proper flex.

This. There is no single answer to this question. Bootfitter will sort it out for you and get you in the right flex.

I don't ski park, but I don't understand how a soft boot would benefit you, unless you're talking strictly forward flex, like a Full Tilt.

Questions like this make me think your best course of action is to find a fitter and HONESTLY tell him your ability and type of skiing you're looking to do. Put some trust in that guy to show you options.
