Stiff and light park ski

First things first, I'm 5'8, 140lbs. I am a tiny man and basically any skis that aren't my wets are too heavy for me to really feel good on. Last season I was riding poachers and going back to them after using my wets exclusively for about a month, I cannot spin. Popped my back all the way down throwing my first 3 on em and the rest of the day wasn't much easier.

Reason I'm looking for park skis when I already have wets is I need something for jumps, I've really only gotten into park this season, but I've been progressing fast and it's time to learn more spins. The first ski I was looking at was bent 90/100's but I feel guilty spending that much on a pair of the best big mountain skis on the market and center mounting them (also expensive). I've also looked into the nomad 95's and 4frnt switch's but I've read conflicting things about the flex on the nomad, and the switch has no reviews with independently verified weight measurements.

tl;dr I need stiff and light park skis

Edit: Oh also durability is a big thing. I don't wanna get tdub pro's just for them to delam and have the edge explode from one mellow front 2 lmao

have you looked at any armada skis? The arv was fairly light to me and stiff for a park ski. I didn’t like it but I just like either heavy/stiff or light/noodle

Yeah I looked at the 96's, they're an option, but they're still on the heavy side. It seems weird to me that most park skis are heavier. Stability tradeoff?

Not sure if that link will work but Soothski measured the 184 Switch at 1760g.

Damn thanks a ton, this website is gonna be super helpful.

Durability not stability. Park skis go thru so much abuse, so they have to be burly to last even a single season (many don't). They are also commonly priced lower than other skis, so they aren't as able to take advantage of expensive, lightweight materials.

Ye try keys they sound pretty sick for jumps idk anything about them but I have riden all the other vishnu skis and there's all very light.and all great skis. Maybe pluses they were fine for Midwest jumps.

As celery said, i have a pair and can reccomend. They are really really light, and very stiff. They spin really fast and are about 86 mm underfoot i believe, 100% symmetrical, slightly cambered skis. they are very poppy and super stable on jumps, i land backseat alot and they always support me. on rails they are really easy to swap and spin and so far the edges have held up quite wel for 45ish days. I am around 130 pounds and ski rails very very hard. and i only have a couple edge cracks, and no edge is coming out of the ski at all, and no core is exposed. Also, if you use promo code milo15, you can get about 100$ off your order

Damn thanks man! After looking at all the skis recommended here I definitely like the alparka the most, and that promo code definitely seals the deal. Appreciate you taking the time!

Yo dude def go Alparkas. I love my Fauna’s. First thing that popped into my head was Alparkas but I haven’t skied them (I have Omni’s and Pioneers) so glad to hear from the guys who have and can recommend. Skied my fauna’s today and will tomorrow too. I really really am about Fauna’s. I love them. Use Milo’s code and get a good deal and a good ski!
