Sticky Rails?

I understand from some comments that there were some stickiness problems. Nipples never had any problems. If you have had a problem list the time and day and the specific feature that you had a problem with.

Last night everything was great. I only had a problem the first day. Which might explain the issue. Now that stuff has been has few times it seems better.

yeah 1st day is always a little sketch on the rails.. give um liek 2 weeks and im sure they will be fine. those guys are known for making quality shit so im sure that wont be a problem. the only negative side to there jib design is how they attach the plastic. they router the edges so they arent sharp but this creates a kind of large void between the plastic seam and the coping of teh boxes. get a ski stuck in there and ur in for a huge wreck. other than that there shit looks to be good, even though i havent ridden it yet.

i thought all the rails except the first two down rails were sticky. The box rail right before the first jump was sticky, as was the battleship and upflat rail.

I went last night (tuesday night) and some of them were sticky. I think it was just because they were blowing snow, so it all layed down onto the rails. Solid park though.

me, matt stout, and ben all almost died on the handrail. All the rails were ridiculously sticky today. I dunno, maybe the rain had something to do with it

so what is the problem. the paint? Jesse said he noticed a little bit of stick and was going to wax everything.

crappy sticky box at the bottom of One Park. hoch saiys go faster so i do and get stuck and bust my kidney up on the rail sucks damnit.

i think it had more to do with my dry base and water on the box then it had to do with the actuall construction of the rail though.

i agree that its mostly the condition of your skis. the first night i was there i was on brand new skis which meant brand new edges, so stuff was sticky for me. last time i was there, i didnt have any problems whatsoever. paint is also a common cause too. stuff at blue last year was sticky when it first came out cause of new paint.

I don't think it was the paint (i don't think the barrel rail is painted). I think it was a patch of rust, i dunno. Other than that day though the rail has always been perfect.

so i just got back from boulder, and the flatstock down rail in the small park is still rediculously sticky. everyone was having problems with the thing tonight. did they make it out of softer steel or what?

We noticed sticky spots on a few rails last night, but as Justo noted especially the flat stock rail in the small park. Good night though.
