Sticky box

so I was skiing today and since the shapers at my local mountain are lazy bastards we only have like two boxes which I hiked all day.So, the one I hiked mostly became sticky as hell the more I hit it until it was so sticky that it was impossible to do switchups and stuff. What can I do to make it fast again? does wax help? which kind of wax do i need? from a candle or the same I use to wax my skis?thx

Wax does not work during the winter. When its' cold the wax stays hard and frozen and it is impossible to get it to stick to the rail. I personally use a bit of old motor oil because it's free. But you've gotta be careful not to fall on the rail in your new Saga. Suit.

im pretty sure normal wax makes boxes stickier...at least from my experience. maybe theres some special wax made for snow rails/boxes. the BBQ brush is a good idea though, because it would scrape off all the shit caked on the plastic. the metal edges can make a box really sticky as well, if they are rough and raised too high.
