Sticker making

hey I'm making stickers with a regular printer and sticker paper... The sticker paper does not come out as shiny and is kinda pixelated and does anyone know what is some good stickerpaper that can go through regular printers at home?
 
Sticker paper will never work with a printer and regular ink.get actual decal paper and a die cutter or white decal paper ans sharpies and clear coat spray paint.
 
the impression I get is that it IS illegal, but they're cool with it as long as you're not making the stickers for financial gain.
