Yo, my mate has just bought some faction somas (92mm waist) and he is getting STH2 14 bindings for them. Hes pretty clueless and i suggested he get 90mm brakes and bend them if need be rather than getting the 100mm brakes.

What do you guys think? i dont want to give the wrong advice!

Do either. Id go for the 100mm just so i wouldn't have to bend them at all. Saves a small pain in the ass, you might not even have to bend them though if you get 90mm. Id go with 100mm just for some extra room and know for sure they would fit

Get the 100mm the STH2 brakes do not bend as easily as the previous Salomon brakes. Part of that is do to the fact that they just snap in to the heel and slide down a plastic track, as the previous brakes screwed into a metal base on the heel track. 4mm on each side is nothing. Also take in to consideration that the 92mm is at the narrowest part of the waist, where the heel is could be 1mm-2mm wider.
