STH DIN Question?

So i just bought some Armada JJ's from last year with last years STH 16's, I needed to adjust the binding to fit my boot but after i slid the heelpiece all the way back I still need about half a cm for my boot to fit. So my question is by changing the DIN on either both or just the heel piece will I be able to get that extra lil bit of room for my boot to fit? Kinda a noob question but I am not to familiar with setting the bindings. Thanks

so your asking if changing the DIN will move give you more room inbetween your toe and heel piece? in that case then NO, do you not have enought room for your boot to go in? that sounds like the shop fuckin up and not sizing your boot to the jig they used to put holes in your skis.

Thats what I thought, but thought there was a hope. And I bought these off a buddy with a smaller boot so the skis were mounted for his boot

oooh ok, thought you meant you just had them mounted. well yeah, sounds like your gonna have to remount them. if you just move the toe piece up you wont have to make more holes for the heel.

sounds like a remount.

DIN has nothing whatsoever to do with whether or not the boot fits

I'm assuming you bought the skis and bindings second hand and they were originally mounted for a boot probably 2 sizes smaller

Depending where they were originally mounted, you could just remount the toes or heels

yea go remount them.

dont mess around with your din, doingso wel only unnessesarly hurt you.

well when you consider that i got the last years Armada JJ's and sth's from a redbull team racer for only 350, i will most likely rock a 10 din so ya might not need a 16 din binding but I couldn't pass this deal up.
