bought a pair of salomon 2009 912ti bindings last year and they broke 3 times. Wondering what to get for my new reno jibs, sth 14 or sth 16? I weigh 88kg and have my din set at 11-12. Don't care about the price just want something that won't brake. Would just get the sth16 cause there stronger but want the lightest set up i can get.

Does anyone know is the extra weight of the sth16 is nessesary?

If you're gonna get the 14's, get the sth 14 driver. Then they will have the same toe piece as the sth 16, just with a different spring

Yer i thought about getting the sth14 driver but can't find them on the net. Do you know much more they cost and if they weigh the same as the 16? Cause i might as well just get the 16 if there the same weight and price.

Unfortunately, STH 14s with the Driver Toe aren't distributed in the USA (for this and last year's STH series at least). If you want the Driver Toe you need to rock the STH 16 . But as far as light weight 16-DIN bindings go, I don't think you'll find a lighter binding than the Jester. Totally killer binding. The good news is that all of these choices are pretty damn sweet.

Fuck the STH series, honestly. I've been rocking the 14's for the past year and I've just had problems since day one. I prereleased riding at a 12 while nollie'ing a little hill. It was pathetic.

I just got some Look TT09 turntables. Get Looks, Rossi, Tyrolias. Just save yourself now.

i don't like plastic salomons, i've had bad luck even with the sth 16, for me it's 916's or turntables

but i'd recommend the sth 16 for your choice, the 3 screw toe is crappy
