Hey, i am coming out to ski steven's pass for three days in january. i was wondering what the mountain and park were like. i have only skied out west once, it was at jackson hole with awesome snow. how is the snow in the pacifica northwest that time of year? just looking for some tips on where the best parts of the moutnain are and stuff, and how the terrain park is.

dont go to stevens, snoqulamie for park, crystal, alpental or baker for backcountry, dont go to stevens, january is a good time for sno

stevens has its good days, but if youre only out here for a couple of days and the snow is good, go to baker, and if its not, chances are snoqualmie will have the better park (snow permitting of course)

 
a good day at stevens is awesome, but like grant said it all depends on when you go, and if the season is good

plus baker tickets are $37.60-weekend and holidays, $30.18-weekdays while stevens is $49 or $46. you're definately gonna get more mtn for your money at baker. Stevens is not that impressive unless you hit it on a good day and I've never been to jackson hole but I have no doubts that it's WAY better than stevens

If you're just looking to mess around, I'm sure stevens would be fine. But as they said, expensive, and crowded on the weekends.

im usually at stevens which means Stevens is prolly the best place to go. maybe prolly not but it really isn't as bad as people think. but you should go with someone that knows stevens cause there are some really fun runs there!

i know jackson to steven's isnt even a comprison. jackson is probably the best resort in the coutnry outside of alaska for skiing 9not park).

 
Stevens is cool but it's not a resort to go across the country for... some of my best days have been at stevens but some of my worst were there as well... just depends on the conditions when you hit it which is not very reliable...
