Its finally come to this! with a daily lift ticket price of $44 (thats $2 more than whistler), safety patrol (which is basiclly people who just tell you to slow down and watch where your going and pull passes) and now charging on the weekend for parking lots that have ALWAYS been free. Its offical STEVENS PASS has turned into a coporate whore of harbor resorts!

wow that really sucks but then you have to look at that there season started extreamly late this year i bet thats the reason for the parking lot fees is to try to make up the difference in what they lost. he its whats skiing is coming to and if you look at it they will keep raising their prices because people are stupid and will still pay their outragious prices... i think its time for a harbor resort boycott to lower ticket prices at all their resorts

wait a minute. they still have free parking, but have had the pay parking for a long time. i know what lot you are talking about, the one to the right of the lodges. its just cause its so close for the yuppy skiers.

The lot i'm talking about is the one near the brooks chairlift and has a cat track that runs just above it so you can ski from the lot to the chair and then down from brooks/skyline back to the lot a very nice and now expensive lot

You wanna know whats real gay..? They started out the season being proud of there free sultan shuttle, now you have to pay for the fucking thing. I think that stevens pass is going to shit, and unfortunately it is not effecting them only the people that ride there. The bus pass for a whole day is 5 bucks as opposed to the 2 dollar one at schweitzer. I think that something should be done, because I have no idea where my money is going to. I would think it was legit if they had things like snowmakers and more lights. But there isnt shit that the money is spent on..

we need some protest or some shit. Like get everyone to go up there and not ski or board and just promote the boycott of everything there and not give them any money. That and I want to write a song called corporate whore and dedicate it to them

How much is it to ski at Snoqualmie? Crystal? I believe it is the same or a dollar less. Snoqualmie has a new lodge, so do we, I don't know of any major improvements at Crystal. Whistler is in such a different category than we are you can't even compare us to them, and besides if you have an Advantage Card you can ski here for $39 weekends and $34 weekdays, and your first ticket is Free, plus get the lowest price Whistler offers when you are there, plus get discounts at Mammoth. Who else offers you this? We bought a Superpipe Cutter and have spent a lot of money on new rails for the park. What is that worth to you? I know the parking you are talking about and yes we are charging on weekends only for that lot but as you may have noticed there are restrooms there now, and of course those cost money for us. As for the Sultan shuttle that is a great deal even at $5 for a ROUND TRIP ride, and if you are smart enough you can buy a 10 ride card for $25, which is only $2.50 per ROUND TRIP, by the way that still does not cover our costs to provide that shuttle. Also I wish everyone would get off the Harbor bashing trip. If you didn't already know Harbor has owned Stevens since before a lot of you were born (1976). The only people who pay full price at Stevens Pass are the ones who only come here once, and don't pay attention, if you ski here more you should be paying less. Boycott if you want but make sure you have the facts straight. Besides no matter how hard we try it seems we can never make you guys happy. I'm not sure why I try.

 
ok so I was waiting for your response pdubya, on all the posts about stevens pass you've supported them with all your might. Just curious, what do you do for them ie your position? liftie? Patrol? work in an office? I'm just trying to get a better understanding of where you are coming from

actually he is an event coordinator and in charge of the retail shop i believe. i'm sure you would have the same responses he has if you were working there. and in all reality, compared to crystal and any other resort in washington, stevens is the best it has to offer. where else can you get a kick ass park like that and something that isnt one giant bunny hill like snoqualmie? think of all the backside and ty bowl have to offer, and everything else there, i dont think you would appreciate paying the $71 at vail or the even $42 at snoqualmie. i think there are more important theings for people to bitch about kids.

and in support of the harbor card, i bought one this year and it has saved me a lot. except for my blonde moment on using my free ticket through it on my birthday, where if you show your id you get a free ticket there. REGARDLESS though, you get so many deals with it. the main reason i bought it was cause i am so close to whistler and the deals i got at whistler with my mission pass last year were awesome. you can't beat $24 lift tickets at whistler kids.

A 'kick ass park'?? And 'They spent alot of money on the new rails'. I am so sure they need alot of improvements in the park area. Some of the stuff is tyte, but I can see alot of things that not only I would change. I have no idea how the park even ranked in freeze, that was a joke. Being a skier of many other resorts, stevens is nothing. Every other resort in california and oregon has better parks. So get out of the town and look at some other parks. Peace out for now

and about the super pipe...where is it? i know they don't have enough snow so why didn't they spend some of my money on snow making capabilities and cover up some of the rocks and sticks and add to the super pipe?

Snoqualmies new lodge really sucks. All it is is a huge rentals building and new ticket counters. they havent even completed it yet.

Stevens is expensive and corprate, but everything nowadays is. Go ski at mission or go backcountry kicker stlye with a snowmobile.

my intire crew waited for his ass at the bottem of the hill and beat the shit out of him. i broke his poles agianst a tree, and we snapped one of his skis. fucker got uppercutted so much. he was bleeding from his eyes and shit, crying like a little pussy. i busted out a body slam on his ass and broke both of his arms. the ski patroler broke up the fight and clipped all of our tickets. we where gonna beat the shit out of the patroller but my mom came to pick us up.
