Stereo wake skis?

They are pretty decent as long as you've got a cable park with rails. The stock bindings Stereo sell are shit and don't give enough support. Obrien bindings will only last about a month then blow apart, What I've been riding for the last year is -http://www.radarskis.com/#!-/boots/-/VaporBoot They are pretty well rounded and definitely worth the money if your going to get into it.

Wouldn't they ruin your powder technique? It looks like you lean back heaps on those. Correct me if i'm wrong though and they look fun as fuck.

I've used a pair and they are super wierd-but fun! First off most of the pairs they make are around 130cm if I'm correct so it's really short. Also, to make it possible to use, they are fully rockered. Anyway the weirdest thing for me was landing straight up and down. If you watch the vid you can kinda tell they land right on their feet. That's how you have to do it. In skiing you should land on your feet but I see a lot of people landing backseat or buttering out. YOU CANT DO THIS. So it's just kinda weird on the landing because skis now days "do the work for you" in some situations and you can land weird ways. But on the wake skis you need to land right on the soles of your feet and really STOMP your landing. Sorry for the ramble, just giving you my experience. Really fun tho....curious to know how many of those rider on the video were previous skiiers, wake boarders, or waterskiers.

Yeah I'm sure there is some adjusting to do from snow to water but the idea tickles my interest, just to keep skiing all year you know? I don't have the cash for these yet but I am going to do more research into them. I just think this could be a cheaper alternative than going to camps and what not, plus being in the water during summer is always a great time so why not put some of what I already enjoy doing into the mix

Yeah I get ya. If you have a wake rail park it's a good investment. Or if you have a boat. I was boating when I tried which I think is a bit harder than tow rope from what I hear.

It definitely keeps you on top of your rail game especially with the swing weight these things take skill to kill. Go with the park editions if you do go for hitting rails as you can P tex the bases instead of doing fibreglass repairs which is messy. Your body is centred if you have access to a cable park with the over head cable, unless you have a good sized tower on a wake boat. The 153's are the size you want the 144's would be good if you are under 5'7" but if you want to hit 40 feet plus the 153's will take the hits and give the extra support you need on the landings.
