Step On Setups

So my backyard doesn't have a long straight area where I could put a setup. I could put one in a section where my trampoline is if I got rid of it which I can't. My question is has anyone made a step on style setup. like your standing on a raised platform, they you step on too a down rail, then you land on the ground, if that makes sense. Has anyone done this and has it worked well?. If you have done it and could pics that would be great. +k for legit help.
Thanks NS,
Zack.

i think i know what you are talking about. like the ground / rail is on a downward slope and instead of jumping onto it off a setup you just stand sideways next to it and step onto it and slide down?

i saw a video where a kid did that, seemed to work out ok, he had no space in his yard too. there is no way i could find that video though, i must have seen it months ago. it would probably work.

I have a regular setup and you can see it in my pics if you want. There is a flat section at the top, a down section, then a flat section to jump off of onto the rail and box. My friend isn't very good so he tried just climbing onto the box from the flat section of the setup which seems to be what you want to do. It worked alright, I mean it was pretty slow but otherwise alright.

that doesn't sound good. what if i made the rail level with the platform that i'd start on? I have a park like three blocks away from my house that has a decent sized-big hill. could i just buy a ton of turf and lay it down right on the ground and then use a jump that i'd build, then too a rail, to more turf. its a community center and i have a job there this summer so they might let me session there after the camp finishes for the day, they're pretty chill so it shouldn't be a problem.

I remember seeing a edit where all the guy did was just lay orange fencing on the grass and he was getting a decent amount of speed. I'll try and find it.

i think if you have a raised platform you will be ok. ^^^if you are having a problem with one foot leaving before the other (which you shouldn't, i have steped on to down rails and haven't had this problem,) you could make like a flat down, but have the flat part be like a foot long and step onto that then push off.

how much space do you have for your drop in // raised platform because i have an idea where you could turn the platform into kind of a drop in.

you could also try doing this. i don't know how much space you have so i don't know if it would work but its basically what andy parry did in tc episode 2 (first season) - thats where i got the idea. but you could make stairs, ladder (depending on the height if you need them) on the side of it, put your skis on it sideways, and just jump 90 and hit it like a mini drop in.

^here's the link hope it comes up clicky. but my idea would be to make a miniature version of this.

yah, the first one is basically my idea, the second one looks like it could work and i've seen people do that and it looks fun. I really want to learn a lot of tricks if i build a setup. i'd probably make the box or rail mellow like not really steep just a slight down but enough that you keep your speed.

Look at my vids. I have a vid of what mine looked like. i Just built a summer setup after. I used an old bank ramp i had. the gap between the top of the rail and the platform was like 3 inches. I had no problem getting on.
