Step ladder drop in

so im running on a bugget and need to build a drop in. i was looking througt the drop in picks and i was wondering is it worth built one of them were the drop in ramp is like a ladder n not have a solid surface?

yeah, just build it out of 2x4's into a ladder then wrap the 2x4's in turf and nail it to the back, then prop it up, wet it, and enjoy

It works better then a solid surface because it has less surface area to create drag

I'm making one of these too, but I'm also going to screw some plywood underneath the "steps". Then you can pack some snow into the gaps to make a really good summer setup.

^^ I meant to say, it also makes a good winter setup when you pack snow between the steps. You can also pack ice rink snow for the summer setup.
