Stencil

I want to cut out my own stencil design. Is there a material that anyone can recommend which is sturdy enough to be used many times, but one which I can cut myself with a knife?

cardboard is ok for a few times, but the real flexible cutting board shit that you can get at ikea would work well i would guess, or some other flexible/easy to cut plastic

I just use manila folders and they work great and last forever.
