Steez or Technicality?

steez/style is a necessity but the technicality is needed also. Like E'dollo. E'dollo has the tech and the style too. i think the combo of both is necessary but it should be 60% style 40% tech

Both. if you have tons of steeze but are doing 3s then you gonna look retarded. And if your throwing triple cork 16's and look like a gaper learning to ski, you still gonna look retarded.

solution: big clothes big tricks= profit

Please tell me you are kidding. Watch 10 people do dub ten mutes and then match the trick to the skier. Then, watch 5 comp skiers (brown, kenworthy, ect) do swithups and then 5 skiers who focus on style(bdog, edollo, hornbeck) do a switchup and name the trick to the skier. My point is, most dub 10s look almost exactly the same but if a skier trys to style it out then all these little tricks will have variation, making it more fun to watch then robots programmed to future spin.

I agree, key word being most. Style is by far way better to watch. Also I feel like OPs question is poorly worded. I know what you were getting at, but Bdog and Edollo don't have a large bag of tricks?

okay true that is sick. i didnt make myself clear though. I was thinking of this from a competition point of view. If you're throwing 3s at comps, your not going to score well. ya dig?

Should be around 75% style and then 25% Technical. Therefore, you are able to have that steeze everyone loves but then also bang out those tricks when they want to. So they can win comps but then have that steeze for movies and edits.

Okay, IMO Henrik doesn't have the greatest style, but it's all preference. I prefer creativity and style over technicality, however, the top comp skiers have developed great styles as well. If you watch the Dew Tour Big Air you'll notice how much landings/grab variations have improved, it's not just style there, it's encompassing that into their tech tricks which is what makes them stand out. I like to see something new and innovative. I also love a crazy new trick or perfectly styled out trick as well. Just skiing how you ski and in your own creative way is what I like. I like to see someone out killing ti creatively, skiing is an art and a sport. It's both in one and that's why I love it!
