just wanted to make sure you've watched it, if you haven't, you don't deserve to own skis, your a looser, go buy this movie and watch it 20 times

steeps a great movie, but i always fell like im watching a horror movie cuz everyone ends up just dieing in the end

Steep is an epic movie, but serios downers when you realise half the people on it were dead before it came out or died just after.

Well... I've seen it once. I don't know if I can watch it again, though. It was way too epic. Me and my buddy took 2.5g's of some boomers and tripped so hard watching it. I was literally standing up the entire movie preaching the epicness of mountains and snow. My stoke factor on life and skiing through this video was insane... I just feel like there is no way to top that experience.
spark notes: eat some fungus and watch steep, it will change your life.

Hahaha I was hoping I could beat you to this thread. :)

I don't think I can ever watch Steep again. It just won't be the same.

Could someone upload all these iconic movies?

I've only been buying ski movies for 3 seasons, and I sort of feel like I've missed out on a lot of skiing history

Go out and buy them... support the industry. I'm sure you can locate a store with most, if not all of these somewhere online.

Willem for the fucking win. This movie gets me so amped on skiing, makes me a prouder skier and geuniely more aware person. Since all you goons are so freakin sunburnt and cranky half the time, you should watch this movie- god know you won't freakin read- and simmer down til fall hits. This movie didn't get aaaanywhere near the credit or exposure it deserves.

I was sick on the fourth of July last year, and it was on On Demand. Let's just say by the end I wasn't just sick anymore, but depressed also.

Great movie. Although it kinda annoys me how the entire movie continually talks about how dangerous it is. The first time I watched it I didn't notice that, but when I watched it with non-skiers they got the impression that backcountry skiing was like, the most dangerous activity around and that I was a nut for doing it. They fail to recognize that you CAN ski the backcountry for a lifetime completely safely, just not necessarily at that level. Oh well, gotta love any movie that has Andrew Mclean.

I was searching for a steep skiing thread and came accross this but I'm going to have to say that Eric Pehota and Doug Coombs are... its hard to put it in words but... celebrities, idols, legendary, role models, etc of this sport. The movie is great although maybe not 100% newschooler material as it's mostly old school.
